England, in search of a damper climate. Once there, he obtained his MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He has subsequently found work as a DJ in a second-rate strip club, a plumber’s apprentice, and more importantly as the sax-wielding frontman of the London based poultry flavoured rock ’n’ roll outfit MFC Chicken. He continues to water his Canadian roots by hosting a weekly all-vinyl radio show (Spencer’s Vintage Inches) for insomniacs on CIUT 89.5 broadcasting 2am Friday mornings.  Between touring Europe with his horn and recovering from late night London liaisons, Spencer has found time to pen a number of short plays and films. His plays have been staged at the Hen and Chickens, Park, Etcetera  and Waterloo East theatres in London. His short films include “Tattooed” which was screened at the 2014 LOCO film festival at BFI Southbank , and “Bin Men” which is an official selection for the Thurrock International Film Festival (2014).  His first feature length screenplay is currently in development  stages with Untethered Films in London.  Spencer is thrilled to be working with SRO central to represent his first full length play, “Rogue Taxidermy”, a sexy dark comedy exploring a subject that has been dear to his heart since he was young lad and used to make his parents stop at the side of the road in rural Ontario to get a closer look at the roadkill. I think now, perhaps, he has said too much.
